- Freixes, Dani
- b. 1946, BarcelonaArchitectDani Freixes often succeeds in infusing architecture with a distinctive breath of the poetical: functional and constructional features blend effortlessly with artistic ones. His association since 1972 with Vicente Miranda has produced works which are both rational and playful. The projects executed in collaboration with Pep Angli and Eulalia González include the Parc Clot (1986, Barcelona), the extension to the Dalí Museum (1994, Figueras) and the Faculty of Communication Sciences (1996, Barcelona). In the area of Interiorism their great successes are the two bars Zsa-Zsa (1989, Barcelona) and Seltz (1993, Barcelona) and the club-restaurant Magic Barça (1996, Barcelona).MIHAIL MOLDOVEANU
